So did you do all the fitting and welding yourself? It looks good. Have you tried it out at all yet? I wonder if the temp changes will create any leaks or cracks.

Gona give it a nice shine? Oo. :D

Some jet hot coating would look really good on that. Excellent job... you gonna manufacture these? I imagine you'd have guys lining up for that.

Not to steal John's thunder but...

one of the reasons he decided to fabricate an exhaust manifold out of stainless steel was because he was sick and tired of the Jet Hot coating burning through on his previous exhaust manifold.

Nice work! :D

If the sapce was available, the best thing to do is make each tube the same length. The flow dynamics are much better. I've the setup on large racing diesels, and even a feew 5. 9L drag motors. Way cool!

Diesel Freak:do you think it would hold up to 1400F EGT AND the weight of twins?... I'll let you know;)

kaptn: Are you going to be at Martin,Mich? ... No. . am in NJ

John. . your not stealing my thunder... John and I talked about this thru Pm's... I value his options and consider him one of the top TDR members even though we had some differences of opinions in the past.

Evan A. Beck Nice work!

Hufnpuf sent me these pictures and acked me if I would post them for others to see. This is some very nice work, and is truly a header style manifold. AM I jealous? Hell yes. :D

Sweet!

Time to fire up my plasma cutter and TIG welder.....

I have wanted to do this for a long time..... never found the time to start a project as involved as this, though.....

How were the flanges made? They look really sweet... .

If you need me to... . I'll TIG weld up a few sets for ya..... free of charge.

Any reason not to use those expansion bellows like the banks truck used on their manifold? That thing looked very trick as well and accounts for the heat expansion.

Sorry JB, I traded my Baldor polisher (+ $) for a titanium framed mountain bike a few years back. However, I've been almost ready to purchase another one... I'm just waiting for The Eastwood Company to put that bad boy on sale! Either that, or locate an awsome price locally.

The only thing is...

I would also like a new Mac Macsimizer roll cab for all my stuff at home (I've outgrown my Snap-On setup).

:D
