I am looking at buying some Stainless Steel Fender Trims and have a couple of questions.

Who makes the best product?

Do they require me to drill my fenders, or do they make use of the existing mounting holes?

Thanks!

I bought mine at Genos a couple of years ago and had to drill.

I think they were made by QMI and as a side note, the black rubber dried out and split at the corners after only a year.

I got mine from Geno's this past Christmas. They are the eyebrow versions. They come with a strap type non-drill installation or install with stainless steel screws. I screwed mine on. The first one I did with the straps to see if I trusted them. They seemed to work fine but I prefer fasteners.

Just a note on those fender trim pieces. I had them on my truck for about two years. When you go to install them yes they do require you to drill several small holes in the inner fender, nothing noticable. I liked them at first, but after one summer the rubber that lines the edges starts to rot/deteriorate away, making them less attractive. Also, do not be fooled, they do attack the vehicles paint. The constant vibrations from running down the road cause the sharp edges of the SS trim to mire the painted surfaces. I found out when I removed them prior to having my truck re-painted, and the holes you drill in the finders will also start the fenders rusting. I decided to not re-install them after the new paint, I threw them away and do not miss them. I was very supprised at all the dirt and so forth that collected behind them. Diffenitly not a good ideal for anyone who lives in the SALT BELT, or for anyone that might remove them latter.
