I'm looking for a medium weight stainless steel brush/grille guard for my '03 4X2. Something that will protect the lights, grille, front trim, etc. , and give me a place to mount two or three lights. I've searched the posts and also inquired in the Accessories Forum, but so far no luck. Any suggestions? Thx.

Westin makes one in stainless, part number 441200, I believe. Also, Tal & Hadas makes a nice one, part number 21416128. I was looking at the latter one.

I have the manik grill guard (CPS) on my 2004 it comes with two holes to mount lights. I looked at quite a few grill guards and the manik seemed pretty stout compared to others. coobie :)

I just mounted a T-304 stainless lite-bar on my 2004 Ram from ICIOnline

Click on the new-product light bar

Good fit and quality. Has mounts for 3 6" lights

Bought it from Cabela's for $299. Saw it on-line for $249 but I had lots of credits with Cabelas. Unfortunately, you loose your tow-hooks.

try this site,, I have a stainless steel brush/grill, guard ,,very nice and great price, mine was like $379 or so,,easy mounting , 3 part ,so if inspections are an issue ove covering headlights ,it can be removed quite easily

I was thinking about getting one for my 05.

Are there any grill guards that will allow the tow hooks to be used and double as a push bar?

Thanks.

I took off my stainless (see pics in readers rigs) since I'm making it a sled puller and will have a weight rack up there.

I was pretty happy with it. Held up well.

... will sell for half whatever a new one costs plus shipping. Or will deliver in person to anyone at IRP that wants it.

I like the looks of the Onki brand brush guards. They are supposedly of all stainless construction. While offering some protection, they aren't in the same category as the Reunel, buckstop, etc. Just depends what you're wanting...

does anyone have pictures of the Westin installed, my neighbor has a chubby with one and it looks nice, I want something on the front but cannot afford the big bumper I want plus I just need something simple, big question though is the westin capable of handling pushing a car or will it crumble like so many of the wanna be grille guards that do more damage than good?

Aries Grill guard

I like the looks of the Aries Grill Guard. I wish that I could find a picture of the Aries one piece grill guard in the stainless. I want to get one for my mega cab but i would like to see a side view of it first.

Onki

Has anyone installed or had the chance to inspect an Onki all-stainless steel grille guard? According to their website, the bottom mounts to the frame, so the tow hooks do not have to be removed. They are a little expensive, however -- the factory website price is axround $875. 00. Has anyone seen one of these? Thx.

I'm running a Ranchhand on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. I really love the heavy duty build and quality. The black powdercoating is great and the unit actually settled the front end of my truck down, as it weighs quite a bit. FYI I am actually selling my Ranchhand grille guard, because I'm getting a Buckstop or Runell complete front bumper replacement and winch.

Smittybilt being liquidated.

Smittybilt ss grilleguards were the least expensive; but the latest model used the tow hook mounts. Around July 13th or 14th I called Smittybilt (about 20 miles from my house) to make an apptmt to look at their latest model, but received no response. On July 18th I called again and talked with a "temporary receptionist. " Smittybilt has been purchased by a liquidator and if no buyer for the company is found, will be broken up, assets sold and business liquidated. Goodbye Smittybilt.
