stainless steel hood shield

Has anyone installed a ss hood shield from Genos garage. Do any holes have to be drilled for installation ? Do the mirrors shake at highway speeds?Thanks ,Gregg Mig 2002 4x4 QC SB 6 speed everthing including cowhide.

Have one on my truck from Cabelas, looks the ssame though. To mount the center piece you loosen the fittings that hold on front grill assembly and slide it behind that and retighten. You do have to drill four 3/16 holes for the side pieces over the headlights, but they are in a real hidden and protected location. Easy install, maybe 10 minutes. Had mine for 2. 5 years and no leading edge paint chips on the hood and less direct hits on the windshield.

I've installed the SS shields on two ram 2500 s and I really like them. I chose to use double sided tape on the eyebrow pieces rather than drill holes. They do seem to vibrate the mirrors a bit but not bad.
