For you 2nd Gen Rammers who like your shiny stuff, I have finally produced a polished stainless steel bumper. It is made of 3/16" thick T304, so it's just as strong as my steel bumpers. The finish is a near mirror - you can see yourself in it, and you'll be able to tell who it is, but you won't see the wrinkles and the gray hair!

P. M. me or email -- email address removed -- for better pictures and pricing. These are still for 2nd Gen Rams only, but if somebody wants to loan me their 3G Ram for a weekend, I will work up a prototype for TDR membership approval!

Group purchases and referrals will be rewarded with discounts or cash.

Man - I wish you would have made these almost exactly 2 years ago.

I bolted on a set of bumpers (poorly) made out of 304 stainless that were all rusted over the next morning from dew.

Come to find out - the fabricator HAD to have used a grinding wheel that was previously used on regular steel on my bumpers and impregnated them with ferrous material. I spent a LOT of time getting them to where they are now... and they still need a lot of work.

I like the looks of what you have so far... and I TOTALLY dig the stainless option!

You've got email. :)

Matt, I wish I had done this about two years ago as well. I went to great lengths to keep steel contamination out of my bumper, but there's always a little bit.

The bed of the plasma cutter, forklift forks, etc. I do keep all me stainless abrasive stuff separate from the carbon steel abrasives, and that helps a lot.

When I said the finish is not a perfect mirror I am not exaggerating. There are visible scratch marks. But from 10 feet away it is sweet. The tiny 32kb post picture doesn't do it justice.

Bug guts clean up pretty nicely off the polished finish. Thanks for the reply.

Finder's fee is $50 if you refer someone to me and they buy a bumper from me.

Hey John, do you have a website that you have a actual photo of the bumper. No offense but what you posted is NOT a photo. I could use water paints and make a better picture. ;) LOL

I can say that John's work is top notch. I've had one of his bumpers hanging on my truck for two years now. Just ask the Dodge Neon my wife pushed out of the way with it!!!!! Bumper=0 damage, Neon=$1600.
