I am now contemplating on getting a set for my Quad Cab long bed.

Are there any of you who have bought/installed these, and if so how was the fit and finish/quality of the product.

Also what are the contents of the kit?Does it cover all of the panels down to the spot welded seams including the rearmost panel on the bed?

I think it would go with the Patriot Blue color fairly well. I also like the options for wording/emblems on the door panels.

Sorry for all the questions but I don't want to buy until I've heard some input from the members.

Thanks,

Phil

I just did a search on them and found lots of good info and some really nice pics as well as install tips. I will go with the polished type and now to figure what design to have on the doors:rolleyes:

Thumbs Up

I love them. Got em on the race truck. Jason installed them and there is some technique to getting them on just right. Line them up carefully and then press hard to get them to seat.

More advise!

And don't copy mine!

I have the "standard" ones like Heber does (meaning no "turbo" on the bed panel). They do NOT go all the way down to the seam joint, which I had originally hoped they did. They use I think 3M double sided tape or adhesive to hold them onto the truck. The fit on mine is probably 99% perfect. There are a couple minor places along a body bend in one or two places where the SS panels aren't quite 100% perfect fit, but you really have to get close up to see that.

I am 100% :D:D:D with them and would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested.

Look under Readers Rigs for my pictures, or my own web site by clicking on the Godzilla link in my sig.

I bought them in I think in 99', they are very good quality. They use a water jet to cut the "words" in the panels, mine says DODGE. They went on very easy, just clean the truck real good, then clean it once more. Take your time and lay all the pieces out and get an ideal of how they should go. You will need help (my wife helped me, when again she always helps me), and the total install time was 2-3 hours. It pays not to get in a hurry, and do it on a nice day (low wind, dry, ect). Over the past 3-4 years they have not given any trouble, they remain stuck, very shinny, and set off the truck real nice. most people comment on them. I also have a set of there mud flaps, and would recomend them as well.
