Stake Pockets

My stake pockets are covered by a fancy shiny chromy stake pocked hider devices, and further hidden by the wooden bed liner. I am wondering if the stake pockets accept standard 2x4 stakes, or some other size?



I am doing a bit of design for some additions to the bed, and cannot reference it without first doing some dismantling.

I've never seen a pickup with 2x4 stake pockets. I think they're 2x2.



I'm curious about the wooden bedliner too!

My stake pockets are 2 3/4" X 1 3/4". If you are talking about the holes on top of the bed sides, 3 on each side? Anyway, I just went out and measured them. A long time ago on another pickup I used 2x4s to make sideboards, and had to shave the boards some to get them to fit down into the holes.

I think my short bed has 2... don't know about the long bed.

Yeah short box has 2 on each side.
