Stalling At Idle

Appologize now but I have searched for anything like this but have not found anything. I have a 2007 mega cab diesel. 514 miles on it now. 5. 5 in lift w/37s. Yesterday going back to work from lunch came to a stop sign and the idle dropped to almost 600 and the engine started shaking bad! Only happened for a couple seconds and the quit. Came to the next stop sign and it did it again. Has not happened since. Maybe air in the fuel? Had 1/8th tank when it did it. This is my first Dodge. Just sold 2 chevys to get it and I hope that I don't have any problems.

could be air. with only 514 miles you haven't had a chance to determine how accurate the guage is.

Did you get your ECM recalibrated for the different size tires. If not 514 miles could actually be more miles and the guage could be off. Don't know for sure, I'm only on my 3rd month of ownership of my 06 5. 9.

I believe they did but not sure. I am going to call my cop buddy and he is going to clock me so I know for sure. As far as having more miles than shown, that aint all that bad either. the warranty should last a little longer then huh?

I seem to recall other people reporting the same behavior. No one ever found a cause.
