03' Stalling

03' H. O. , just started stalling... luckily close to home, nursed it back home and have this code: P0628, which is:

Fuel Pump Relay circuit low, or Fuel lift pump circuit low

thoughts?

is my lift pump history or just a bad connection?

My fuel filter only has about 1k on it and I purged the system in case water in the fuel, but didn't see any.

I'd put a drain pan under the clear fuel drain tube coming from the filter canister, open up the yellow drain valve, and bump the starter to activate the lift pump. If it's working properly, you should get a strong, steady flow of fuel out of the drain tube. If not, check the electrical connection at the lift pump (back of the fuel filter canister), make sure it's clean, snapped in tight, and if possible, check the connector for +12V. If all that checks out, yep - your lift pump is gone.

Thanks for your replies, Bob & Thomas...

So far it only stalls if I am on an incline or even slightly uphill, while at idle. But then it is a bear to get her up and running again.

I did a search on the code, and it seems everyone has had to change out the lift pump... all my connections look snug and dry. I have noticed that the Dealers have been backordered for a quite some time, according to the posts... wish Dodge would get their acts together!
