anyone know where is can buy some stanadyne fuel additive quickly. had it ordered from diesel injection service for over two weeks and it is still back ordered, so i canceled it.



i have to start using something. any suggestions?

Im sure there are lots of places that sell it. Only one i know right off the top of my head, besides D I S, is piers diesel. You may want to check there. If for whatever reason your in a big hurry, you may be able to find some close to you that you can pick up yourself.

Truck stops usually carry several name brands, as well as larger RV outfits like Camping World...

Hi Kurt-- I would go to their website http://www.stanadyne.com and do a dealer locator search. Out here in Utah, you don't find it

in many places. Our local truckstop carries power service and Lucas. I always used Power Service in my 1990 Dodge and never had any problems, it didn't increase mileage, but at least the fuel didn't gel down to around 25 below. My last 5 tanks have had Stanadyne performance in it and can't tell any difference their either. I have 4 more pints of stanadyne and if I can't see something happening in the fuel mileage, might as well go back to PS. At least Walmart has it. Mileage is not good, hope the thing loosens up!

I wish I'd have known this before I came back to Butler over the weekend, coulda brought you some. There is a place about 5 mins from me that stocks cases of the 64oz jugs. If you want I can go there on Friday and pick up a jug or two and mail them to you. It's a couple more $ per jug than diesel injection service. I think I paid about $17+tax.

I just looked at the dealer locator, there's a place in New Ken that carries it, if they want more than $20 for a jug, or don't have it in stock let me know.

Hucksdorf diesel here in Wisconsin sells it, you can check them out on the web at Hucksdorf

I paid around $50 for a case of 12, not sure how good that is havent found anyone to compare with yet.
