New Member, EGT gauge question

Hey everyone,

I've tried the search, no luck.....

Is there a different power settings from the factory??

I read in posts about standard or HO. ( I think this refers to High-Output)

Ya know since I found this site I've had a HEADACHE, trying to absorb all this... ... . thanks... . :D

Look at the Cummins Data plate sitting on the drivers side of the gear housing on the front of your engine,

if it says hp is 245 you have an HO engine, 235 is standard.

Since you have an auto, it is safe to assume you have the ETC engine. 2001 ratings for the ETC auto transmission trucks were 235HP, 460 ft-lb torque if I remember correctly.
