I think I got everything but my spelling.

The crack about the allen wrenches and magnet. . Once you have converted to these, you won't have to disassemble the engine to do a plate slide anymore. Remove the 4 allen screws and that back Solenoid screw and the AFC is loose. Move it, Slide the plate, re-install everything. On the fly power adjustment. It's worth buying the wrenches just for this.

Thanks biggie 238,

That was great,I think after reading all of this and the diagrams it is all starting to come together. How were your results and when you reinstalled the afc did you slide it all the way forward as well?

:) Sorry. You already know I misread it. I still think that the majority of people sliding the plate FULL forward see a decrease in mileage, although your comment holds very true, you have to use it appropriately. Like I said, it took my average speed from 55mph to 70mph without a mileage drop.

Yes, The AFC cap has slotted holes (where the four screws reside) that allows it to be slid forward. I slid mine full forward, but since I did it in conjuction with everything else, I have no Idea what it actually did by itself.

I watched my exhaust after work today and It will haze as long as I stay above 3/4 throttle after a launch.

Dam! Learn somethin new every day. Theres supposed to be a gasket under the afc housing?? Mebbe thats why mine leaks oil all over the place. Mine dosent have one so I guess im gonna go to the parts house and get a sheet of gasket material and make one up.

Hell I thought there was one there?!?!? Like I said it's been a year ago I did this. I thought there was a machined groove in mine where the gasket laid into. Mine leaked after two weeks and I tightened the bolts down again. These motors vibrate Ungodly amounts.

I wouldn't put anything in there though Signal. There's no way to know how that would affect how the gov arm would ride up the afc

Go easy on me guys. . I'm just trying to help :D
