Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Started getting 4 lbs more boost, stock

My truck is completely stock.



My gauge normally shows 19 lbs of boost while pulling hard.

I've noticed lately that I am getting 23 lbs of boost.



Anyone have any idea what may be going on?

I'm thinking the wastegate is stuck or not working.

Since you have an HX35-W turbo, you could have a leak in the rubber hose going to the wastegate actuator, the wastegate actuator could be leaking, the line or boost elbow could be partially plugged, etc.
