2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Starter circuit problem?

Is there some kind of thermal breaker in the starter circuit? On four occasions now my truck has failed to start after shutting it down. At first I thought it was the clutch switch so I bypassed that but no luck. The problem seems to cure itself after 30 minutes to an hour. Everything else seems to be working. Any ideas anyone?

Probably your starter contacts.

I used Larry B's contacts and did the job myself.

Man the starter is a real pain to remove.

The contacts are fairly easy to replace once you get the starter removed.
