Wanted to run this by a few people. I go to start the truck and click click then fires up. Doesn't happen all the time. I have the the larry b's starter contact kit and just wanted to make sure that I got the right parts or is this another issue

That's where I'd start. That's pretty much what was going on with mine.

Now that I've had the starter down once, I can probably have it out of there in just a few minutes.

Clicking usually points to the starter solenoid contacts.

With a 4x4 it is posiible to do but a lift would work better.

When the starter comes out of the hole grap it at the front end point it upward and bring it out where the front diff hooks up with the drive shaft or a little foward of there.

Get the top bolt out first then the bottom two.

try cleaning all the contacks

on the battery's and starter

and check the starter relay it may be loose pull it out and put it back in

it's under the hood in the black box

behind the battery on driver side

when i cleand all my wires up it starts every time

sand paper and wire brush

saved me some$$$

Like VHolloway said, and like my electricity teacher always says, Connections, connections, connections. Check your connections up at the battery and starter. You would'nt believe what a little corrosion on the terminals could do.

FOSTERW IS RITE CLEAN THEM UP AND SEE WHAT YOU GOT

I HAVE 180K ON MY TRUCK

LEARN THE TRICK OF KEEPING THESE TRUCKS RUNNING AND SAVE YOUR $ IF YOU GET THE REBILD KIT

IT TO WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED UP

i HAVE BEEN THRU WHAT YOU ARE GOING THRU I CLEANED ALL THE BATTERY CONTACKS AND GROUNDS

STARTER LUG SHE STARTS EVERY TIME

KEEP A STARTER RELAY IN THE GLOVE BOX THEY DO GO BAD

THEY ARE UNDER THE HOOD IN THE UNDER HOOD FUSE BOX BEHIND THE BATTERY ON THE DRIVERS SIDE

TRY PUSHING RELAY FUSE THEN TRY TO START IT AND SAVE YOUR MONEY
