starter

just put in a new starter from napa part 446408 and solved my starting proplem. I notices that it was a smaller motor than the one I took out.

confused:

Is there two different starters used on our trucks ie 2. 5 kw vs 3KW.



Is one prefered?

I would say one the same size as the one you took out would be preferrable. Definitely wouldnt want to go smaller. I had mine rebuilt at a local auto electric shop for right at $100 here in the swamp.
