I have a starter I think is acting up. give me some opinions on this.



Randomly, the starter will just click when turned to start, when this happens a spark comes from between the starter and the bellhousing. A couple more tries and it starts. 80,000 miles on original starter. Thanks.

Loosing ground

Ckeck and see if your starter bolts are getting loose. The starter grounds to the bell housing. If your starter is about to fall off you are seeing the sparks from it loosing its ground.
