Its happened a few times in the last month, but i have had to turn the key over to start 3-4 times and then it fires. Usaully it starts on the first try. it is a 2006,5. 9, with 85,000 miles.
i say check fuel lines at head... even trucks never been touched can be slightly loose when cold. tighten nut that holds fuel supply tube in and the line nut. ever so slight movement usually means you are on to something.
My 06 was a little slower to start but cranked over just fine.
I figured it was time for batts and after new batts it starts so much quicker.
The pcm seems to like good batts for quick starts.
