As Murphy's law states, "The things you want but can't afford will be on sale for a limited time only. " I just ordered my DD Ultimate Power Module because of the June special. :D Really didn't have the money to spend on it but the price was too good to pass up. Now I've started down that long dark road of mods that will dominate my truck forever.

Unfortunately I don't now have the mula "$" for injectors. My fear is that I won't be able to install and use my new toy until I get a set of bigger injectors. :(

What risk do I run to the inj. pump by installing the module on a truck with standard Inj. ? I might be able to get 275's next month but would really prefer DD IIs. Does anyone have a used set of DD IIs that they replaced with stage IIIs?

Boone... although I have heard of the extra stress a box can have due to smaller injectors, I ran my Blue Chip box for about six months before I installed bigger injectors. I guess some have problems, and I was lucky.

I would be more concerned about putting in gauges... specifically an EGT gauge. Boxes are fun, but can be dangerous!

I installed gauges when I first got the truck a year ago. EGT pre turbo and a boost gauge. Plan on geting a 4" or 5" exhaust soon after I get the injectors paid off.

My thought was to install the box and not run it above a 3 setting until I can purchase the DDII.
