Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Starting Problems

I have been having problems starting my truck lately. The truck has always started on the 1st or 2nd revolution. The last couple of times I have tried to start my truck it has had to turn over for about 15 sec before the truck starts. If i ideal it high after it starts I can get some white smoke when it is still cold. After the truck warms up it starts and runs like nothing is wrong. I should also tell you that the truck sat for about a week between starts. I don't know if I have a leak in one of my fuel line hoses or if fuel is draining back after it sits awhile. But there would still have to be an air leak. If anyone else has had this problem could you please help me with some advise on how you fixed and things I should watch out for.

I strongly recommend getting that writeup from Joe. He has helped a lot of people with dealing with air leaks in their fuel lines. If it is only after the truck has sat for a little while, that is most likely what your problem is.
