Brakes

There is a company called STATIX Brakes has anyone used their cross drilled rotors? Also they said if they had enough demand they would start manufacturing replacement calipers and other brake parts for our trucks. Looks like some quality parts.

I wish Brembo would have replacement rotors and calipers for our trucks but this looks like a good place to start. From what I saw on their website the products look very good. I would like to have high performance brakes at all 4 corners. If the price is right you can count me in.

Check into these guys too...

Two of my friends have their rotors on Furds, and like them a lot. Am planning on ordering a set for my pickup soon, but haven't got around to it yet.

I know he doesn't show our pickups on his site, but I emailed and got back a price of $330 for my '01, 2500 4x4.

Ramafid,

I'd say that if you can hold out, wait for me to get my ducks in a row and I'll order a set and report back. Problem is that it's a 4-6 week wait on delivery after ordering (at least it was on the Furd's I helped with). He might have a set of Dodge rotors ready to go, but not sure. I'll give him a holler tomorrow and see what he says.

If you look further you will find most of the aftermarket brake upgrades/conversions sold are for 1500 and 7500 gvw 3/4 ton trucks. EGR has always come out on top every time I investigate RAM brakes for upgrade or rear disc conversion on the 2500/3500.
