I had a dual universal temp gauge put in a at diesel specialists here in vegas on 4221 production court. The gauge came from Genoes. One temp sensor went to MAG-HYTEC diff cover. The other went to the HOT trans return line(here is the problem). Diesel specialists put in a T that went in to the factory trans line. The T was from BD power a compress fitting. The T was so you can get the sensor in to the flow of trans fluid to get the fluid temp. Well to say the least the T LEAKED after only TWO days. I took it back to CHAZ(the mechanics name) & he said it just needed to be tightened up a bit. Ok that worked until i put the 5th wheel on the truck. I was on my way to go hunt in Oregon when in the wal mart parking lot i see trans fluid on the ground. Well im 500 miles away from home & a big leak flowing from the T. A Mechanic in Ontario OR. COULD NOT GET IT ANY TIGHTER. So he had a new hose made up for me with a t put in it for the temp senor. $336. 00 & 2 1/2 hrs later i was on my way. Well when i got home i went back to diesel specialist to let them know the t failed. Darrel at the desk said all it needed was to be tightened up again. Well we tried that at the shop in Oregon still leaked. Darrel would do nothing to remedy this. All he could say is it just needed to be TIGHTENED. It was by his mechanic twice & a mechanic in Oregon. I paid 600. 00 to diesel specialists for the install of the temp gauge & 336. 00 for the new hose. A lot of money to have temp gauges installed. 936. 00 later it works. SO DONT GO TO THIS SHOP IN VEGAS.
