I couldn't agree more. Too bad the media labelled him as a "Sniper. " It's wayyyy too flattering a term for him.

I think ALL media should change the label to "Coward" and see what happens. I'd be willing to bet this whacko would make more mistakes... which may make him easier to nab.

I won't even go into what I think the punishment should be for the crimes.

Just my thoughts.

according to Webster...

Snipe:

to shoot at exposed individuals of an enemy's forces especially when not in action from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Sooo...

since it is unreasonable to consider a civilian population

'an enemy's forces', this guy is NOT a sniper, but a common mass MURDERER .

I hope this guy is right:

"I have a very difficult time believing this. Sounds like another urban legend to me…"

I tend to agree with him, the people supposedly involved are too too vague.

This was taken from the local news web site.

Law enforcement sources said the investigation by federal, state and local authorities has led to information about a number of people with high-powered guns, both legally and illegally owned.

A firearms safety instructor said the FBI has been asking registered owners of . 223-caliber guns to bring them in for ballistic fingerprinting.

Sounds credible to me.
