Has anyone seen or heard of a short bed, standard cab, 4x4 with a cummins?

I know why I want to do it, just wondering if anyone has done it before me.

I've seen 3/4 ton Dodge short beds before, they make good trail rigs. Okay, still big, but you get my drift.

I've seen regular cab longbeds with the CTD. Several of them running around my area (1st, 2nd, and 3rd gens).

I'm sure if you can't find a shortbed reg cab... it would be too hard to shorten a longbed to suit your needs.

And I agree... . and shortbed regular cab 3/4 ton would make an awesome trail rig.

Got any pics? Did you flatbed the rear or what? I'm curious to see how this looks...

That set up would also be nice for plowing snow in our area with a better turning radius.

With the CTD only available in a 3/4 or 1 ton that means a QC long or short bed, or reg cab long bed so the only way I see that would be the best would be to find a reg cab long bed and  cut down the frame then install a short bed box. Done right it would be a nice rig.

i have a temporary flat bed. i will build a nicer one with tool boxes on the sides when i get the time.
