Same here. 05, remote entry, no remote start, black fob and key, and NO sentry. Don't recall a dash LED; maybe it's there, dunno.

Its there, you just don't see it. If you were to add the Sentry Key then that led gets enabled so when you lock the truck it flashes. Thieves know its Sentry equipped then.

I broke down and read the manual. The Sentry key (grey fob or key-remote) is part of the immobilizer. There's an optional vehicle alarm which is deactivated with the remote or Sentry key in the ignition.



The build sheet lists Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System as standard equipment and Keyless Entry w/Immobilizer as optional. As far as I know there's no alarm.
