NORTH VERNON -- Two people were in custody Thursday after allegedly stealing diesel fuel and pouring it in their gasoline engine, accidentally disabling their vehicle.



The men were 25-year-old Dustin Arnett of New Point and 23-year-old Benjamin Arnett of Greensburg.



Police suspect the men stole five gallons of what they thought was gasoline and a gas can from a home.

That's almost as good as the genius who thought that he was siphoning fuel but had his hose in the Black waste tank of an RV..... :-laf

Hell, I always HOPED that some fool would steal the diesel I kept in a red Blitz can in the back of my truck + put it in their gasser ;-)

NORTH VERNON -- Two people were in custody Thursday after allegedly stealing diesel fuel and pouring it in their gasoline engine, accidentally disabling their vehicle.



The men were 25-year-old Dustin Arnett of New Point and 23-year-old Benjamin Arnett of Greensburg.



Police suspect the men stole five gallons of what they thought was gasoline and a gas can from a home.

One of our trucks goes for on site fuel delivery for construction. The driver is out at nite filling up dozers, graders and the like. A group of South Central youth told him to fill up the Caddie with gas. He tried to tell them that all he had was diesel but they wouldnt let him talk. He finally told them ok but he would have to fill the equipment first then their car. He had the motor running to run the pump for the fuel. Filled their car jumped in the truck and drove like hell. :-laf:-laf:-laf
