Anyone Having Problems With PayPal?

I just saw on the news today that someone had parked a cargo trailer over one of the gas station underground fuel fill covers and while parked there, they removed the false floor of the trailer and siphoned out hundreds of gallons of fuel.

With the price of fuel these days it's making me think about a locking cap for my truck. I've heard the locking caps that the Dodge dealer sells are easily defeated as well as the one that Geno's sells. Is this true and how easy are they to get off without the key?

I don't know but around here they prefer to hit trucks and suv's. A locking cap won't stop them as the prefered new method is to drill a hole in the bottom of the tank while laying underneath out of site and drain it into cans. They learned that trick from the catalytic convertor thieves. Personally, I'd rather they siphoned up a mouthful of fuel and choke on it than have them drill a hole in my tank.

At some point between Monday and Thursday afternoon, some siphoned between 7-10 gallons from one of my tanks. I'm not positive where it happened. I bought a couple of lock gas caps. I know that won't stop someone from drilling a hole in my tanks but at least it will stop or slow someone from siphoning. #@$%!

Back when fuel was a buck a gallon, I put a locking gas cap on mine because I was concerned some environmental wacko was going to ADD something to my fuel tank.

2wd does have an advantage. Not a whole lot of room to crawl underneath and get the fuel out.

I've been lucky so far. But then again, I'm the nuttiest guy on the block. The kids won't even come onto my grass to pick up a soccer ball without asking permission!
