Keep A Flair Gun In The Door Of Your Truck

Noah in 2006

Word out here is people are starting to steal fuel/gas. The new way isn't with a hose by syphoning... ... these people are using a rechargeable drill, drilling a hole in your tank and draining from that. Three separate cases here in my town recently.

Although I dont know of a way to stop them from just drilling a hole in the tank..... makes me wonder how ... now... ... your supposed to hide the fuel tank.

I read somewhere (might have been here) that you have to watch out for thieves stealing your license plates. They will steal tags then go to fuel stations and drive off after filling... . all the while the cameras record the stolen plate number!

Granted this may be hard to do with pre- pay and card only pump.

Got both issues covered: Truck parks under recorded video surveillance at home and under security watchmen during the day, and the plates are put on with locking nuts!

Haven't heard of it happening around here but

Dog warns, and then it is hammer back, two hand grip, point and shoot.

Maybe that's why we don't have much of that where I live? :)

Amen!

I think I have the best theft deterant in my front yard. The lic plate on my 1-ton says RDNECK. Next to it is a Mud covered Suburban with 35's that the fenders didn't quite clear... . so we took a torch to them... not exactly a smooth cut when you don't care. :-laf

The fact that if I don't get them with the . 45 or the . 40, My roommate will get'm with the 12guage or the 7mm. :D

If they steal the fuel from my truck, I just hope they use it to fill their gasser.

Another oldie but goodie rip off I heard of is, they steal your battery at night. The next day, your truck won't start, so you go to Sears and do the American thing and buy a new Die Hard. Next night they come back and steal your new Die Hard and put your old battery back in, which you don't notice till 6 months later. Now, you've paid for a new battery to replace the stolen one, but don't even have the new battery to show for it.

They make that much noise in my front yard..... and they will need more than a finger to plug the holes... .

It may not be legal here in MN, but ya know..... "I opened the door to scare him off and he took a swing at me with the wrench... . " :D

Probably wouldn't work... . and I hope I don't have to find out..... but I guarintee there wouldn't be any more thefts in my neighborhood!

LOL You guys... ... .

If you were to shoot at and kill or injur a guy in your lawn drive or front porch you'd be put away to never see daylight again. A thief/vigilanty has far more rights than us law abiding decent citizens/property owners ever will.

Don't ya know that as I type this the US High Cort is now deliberating on the case that a theathal injection is crule and unusual punishment cuz a shot in the arm hurts.

BTW my wife's uncle has all the fuel stolen from his car while he was asleep. They took 40. 00 worth. Best to just let 'em take it and keep yourself out of the cort/jail system by shooting/killing/beating the guy(s).

That's reality folks.

Not true. Here in Texas you can legally shoot someone trying to break into your car but, this is only at night. The reason is that you have no idea if that person is armed. Now with that said you might be cleared in a criminal case but the civil may clean you out.

They have to find a body first. A lot of desert around here... ... :-laf :-laf

Friend of mine with a little car lot has had the drill happen to him 4 times... . they take what they want... . let the rest run on the ground... . guess they need a bigger bucket.

AK is pretty sparse. And someone with a plane can fly places you can't get to otherwise.

If the law was on my side I'd rather not kill them. Just maim them so bad they have to eat thru a straw for the rest of their life or mabye roll around in a wheelchair. That way they can remember every single day what they did & why they are crippled. I have NO tolerance for cheats, liars, thieves and other scumbags.

As true as that is... It doesn't change the fact of what you WANT to do.

In MN if he threatens me with bodily harm or death (hence the wrench) I'm within my rights. It may not be smart, and you'd probably loose in court because of all the whiney POS's out there that are basically legalizing stealing.

Had gas disappearing out of a rural farm fuel tanks both locked and locks cut off shop was broke into also because the switch to turn them on is inside. problem solved when I had bulk dealer put gas in diesel tank and diesel in gas tank within a day I saw a couple of neighbor kids pickups sitting along road. I can,t prove it was them but nothing has dissappeared since. Sometimes its more fun to outplay the crooks than to join them :-laf . Its a known fact in my area that I,m a very good shot with any type of gun partial to my 22-250 and my 454 casull pistol sighted in at 100 yards. and they both go every where with me and my wife and yes she is good with em also. Not to kill people with but to Inflict maximum damage while retaining a thread of life to suffer with so they can think about their stupidity. Hunting prairie dogs and coyotes keeps the eye keen and hands steady.

More states are enacting 'property defense' statutes, Alabama and Georgia recently. Now, one is justified using the force of choice to protect property and self. A word of caution: the truck might get scratched if you bang while siphoning, them big rounds kick up lots of dirt/rocks if more than a twenty burst gets out.
