I have a 07 2 wheel drive diesel and was wondering how a steel bumper from perhaps Reunel, would look on it. I know that most trucks are lifted or just have a higher suspension with 4 wheel drive. I want it more for protection then using a winch. Im open to looking at some different brands of bumpers. Anyone have some pics? If you do, you can send them to -- email address removed -- Thanks. Dan

Here's a vote for Pro-zapp - I forget how long its been on there but It works great and looks good. The person who finished it I understand had just started in the production line. I can only tell her - you sure got it right!!.

While Road Armor doesn't seem to be very popular, I picked one up used in new condition, nice bumper. The powdercoating is done well. Winch mount-up is to the standard mounting spec. I have no complaints.

Road Armor charged my card on 12. 10. 08. Sent my bumpers 3. 15. 09. Wrong rear bumper. Still have not received the correct rear. Land of excuses and the worst customer service in the world. I would be treated better serving pork sandwiches to gitmo scum.

Finish on front bumper is deplorable. Looks like an orangutan having an epileptic seizure did the finish grinding. My sincerest apologies to those who are or ever will suffer from this terrible disease.

If you have money to waste, time to waste, and enjoy being jerked this is the gang to seek out. Man, am I sorry that I did not go with any of the other respectable companies that are out there producing quality products and backing up those products with service.

How did you know how i feel about RA----seems pretty consistant with my dealing with them---6 month of frustration/wrong parts/bumpers:-{}:-{}:-{}. I'm eying Buckstop/ Fab Four for the 2007 Mega DRW i bought used in Dec 2008. With all the bashing they take i wonder why there still in business---no repeat customers here that i can see. DW#@$%!#@$%!#@$%!

There is a bumper made in TX. I thank it is called the TX bumper that is very good and the cost is good. I bought it in TX. in 03 cost was around 400. 00 a very good buy for what I got. It is under priced to most others.

I really like my Ranchhand, but it is a monster, and I am always leaving stuff on the bumper and donating it to the wilderness.

I have a warn setup on my 05 RAM. . And I must tell you, its stout. Kinda heavy but, you can lift the truck up by it. . It also comes with fog lights. . Take a look on their web site. . I know its $$$$ but you do get what you pay for... I have had it on my truck for 3 years and there is no sign of rust or anything... . The other cool part is, other than having to drill 3 additional holes in the frame for mounting brackets, it bolts straight and true without any shims, at least mine did... But that is just my 2cents...

I gotta tell you, I just went to Reunel today to have my new rear bumper installed and what a first class job they do there. I was eyeing all the bumpers in various stages of assembly and i can tell you, these things are built tough!! As i flipped through hundreds of pages of photos of work they have done, I was amazed at how nice these things complemented all makes and sixes of trucks. From massive 5500's to small suv's for the Highway Patrol, they look good on everything. So to actually answer your question, eventhough you aren't driving a jacked up 4x4, these bumpers are designed to complement a wide variety of vehicles.

X2 on the Reuenel polished Stainless Steel rear bumper--here is a link to some pics of one on my truck. Check out post #3.

Reunel also happily and easily did some custom work on mine--putting in 4" round cut-outs for my reverse lights, instead of their standard rectangular ones. They also added an extra trailer plug, and moved their original one from below the plate to next to it. Also added the SS shackles for trailer chains. GREAT company to do business with!!

It looks like Bodyguard uses the factory hitch, while Reunel is a hitch and bumper unit together, am I looking at this right ? Trying to figure how to re-do my wrinkled hitch and bumper, going in tomorrow for the estimate. Got to find out if they have a frame alignment rig, I guess it would be called. So far the other guy's insurance with the lizard has been pretty easy to deal with, but then they haven't shown me the money yet.

Don't know about the bodyguard, but my Reunel hitch is integral to the bumper and rated at 15k #. I got the welded in itch as opposed to the bolted on hitch.
