Cabelas' carries these so I called them to see how they attached to the bed. There is no back and they just attach with sheetmetal screws. For $70 I think I might try 'em. I like to go topless during the summer and don't like a huge tool box in the back but I need something. I'll post results.

It's made of weatherproof, black polyethylene plastic. Two locking doors on each side offer easy

access to your gear in the long storage area. . Sold per side (right or left). Only available for a long bed.

That is what I wondered to. I really don't want to drill any holes in my bed, but they look like they might keep some stuff out of sight and somewhat secure.

They Suck (IMHO)

I have a set of these. The locks are pointless (they open while locked). The hinges bend very easily and the mounting hardware rusts. The "weather stripping" doesn't stick well.....



To make a long story short, when I have a couple extra bucks in my pocket, and some time this summer I think I willl make something similar out of wood. At least that way I CAN lock the contents in.
