What size bolts are the ones on that mount steering box to frame. I think they are 12, but can't seem to match up with dim.s shown on charts. I replaced a steering box and the "new" one leaked at pitman seal. The guy I bought it from sent me another one and I took everything apart, leaking box out. Put the replacement box in and started the bolts by hand. Got them ready to snug up before torquing, and when I put a socket on the lower bolt it kept spinning. Pulled bolt out and there are no threads in box. Memorial weekend and to say I'm PO'd is putting it mildly. Need to know bolt size and thread so if I have to hell coil. Got a call into guy and won't do anything until I talk to them. Making sure I don't do anything to void warranty.

Nope, I looked at that hoping. There's some kind of boss there. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Well for information the bolt is an M14x2.00 standard thread. Also got in contact with guys at Redhead Steering and they overnighted another box to me. Called Tuesday and box was here on Wed. Can't ask for better service than that. Would recommend them. Everything is in and getting ready to leave on trip. All's well in the world. LOL

Well, Redhead Steering has changed their tune since 2015. The same thing just happened to me and after supplying them photos of damaged threads in all mounting holes, they delayed from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon to tell me that I must have installed the bolts crooked and damaged the threads. They would not replace the unit without additional charges and certainly would do nothing to help me overnight. So, I CAN ask for better service than that.

Sorry to hear that. I expected a push back when this happened to me. These are all reman's. I was happy that they worked with me on the problem and especially the overnight replacement. Hope they do something for you.
