I recall seeing something a couple months back... . somebody (up in Canada, I believe) came up with a brace for the steering box output shaft that eliminated the slop. Anybody know anything about this? Who makes it? Does it work?

TIA

I don't know how to paste a link to the thread, however, the thread is titled "Loose steering box fix". Mine is waiting to be installed. The following is an excerpt taken from the above thread with his info. I think he might be a little backlogged, though. Took a week after my check cleared for him to send mine. Waiting for the weather to clear up a little to get it put on.

"My address is : Darin Tessier

Box 301 Weyburn Saskatchewan Canada

Phone: (306) 842 4346

I will send the bracket thru the Mail, COD for shipping. I accept checks or mail orders. The bracket will be sent out the next day of recieving the order. I do not require to be paid before I ship. Email order is fine. If you don't like what you get for ANY reason, the check will be sent back to you. No happy-No pay! Just need to know address to send. "

No problem Jim

I will take a shot at explaining it.

When you are posting, there are some gray buttons above where you typing the message for the post. When you get to the place you want the link, click the one that says "http://"

It will ask you what text you want it to display (this is what will appear in the post, I put "here").

Click "OK" and it will then have a place to type in the link (you can copy and paste the link from the address bar at the top of the page you want as the link). Click "OK".

It will put the link into your message (it will appear as the address and a bunch of letters, but when you post, it will show up as the text you put for it to display as).

Any help? I'm not good at explaining things :D
