Go with a NEW not a rebuilt. Genos Garage has them.

the borgeson genos sells is very nice I ran on my old truck. I currently have a redhead box, which is rebuilt, but very good quality and easy company to deal with. Both are very good boxes, genos and redhead both great companies to do business with. The rebuilt boxes from auto parts stores are not good quality in my experiences.

I got mine from NAPA. Must have gotten lucky cause it works great. I have a 2wheel drive truck. Less front end trouble than 4x4. I replaced my stock box at around 240,000 miles. It was real bad. Have 252,000 now with no trouble.

While you are at it get a steering box stabilizer. I have had them on all my trucks. I think that they really help to extend the steering box's life plus an improvement in steering.
