steering coupler

Hey guy's, I need to replace my steering coupler, and right now the Borgson and Flaming River shafts are out of the question, I need a fairly cheap fix. I went to the dealer and I can get the Dodge repacement for about $70. 00 CND dollars, I thought this was a $20. 00 part , then went to a few parts stores, and either the did not have a replacement or they wanted more $$$ then the dealer. Can some one point me in the right direction. Thanks

Do a search on steering shaft. You will find the part # for a repair kit that is only about $5. 00. I have done it a couple times, it can be a pain if the coupler is rusted. But it will fix the problem. Karl

kit number is P/N 04443436 AC



There is also supposed to be a better rubber boot, P/N 04740761
