OLD MAN The part # on the invoice from heckethorn off-road products was 87323 and cost $44. 87 which includes shipping and boot. As I remember I just snugged up the top nut until the rubber just compressed just a little. Hope that helps. RIVRUNR I called roughcountry and they told me this steering stabilizer will not fit to the diesel. Did you had any problem with installation ?

M EVAN The only problem I had was getting the old damper off, the new one went on pretty easy. I've been driving around town for the last couple of days since the install and everything seems fine.

Ditto on the 2001 Rancho steering stabilizer. Mine wouldn't fit, either.



On the dual stabilizer setup... it's always been explained to me that dual shock/stablizer setups are usually just two shocks valved at half the rate of single shocks, so that they basically create one shock. Reason being: dual shocks look cool, but are really no more functional than a properly valved single shock.

Does anyone know if any of the dual stabilizer kits will work with the front Mag-Hytec cover? I'm currently running a single Heckethorn stabilizer and the front Mag-Hytec cover. I've been wanting to get a dual stabilizer kit but clearance issues with the Mag-Hytec have been a concern, it's a pretty tight fit!
