Steering gear box

HI guy's ,first post but longtime reader. I have a quick question about the steering gear box on my truck,it's leaking again from the input shaft . I'm gonna replace it but was wondering if the AGR gear box is a heavier duty unit and worth the money or should I just stick to the stock gear box. This is the second unit on the truck so I'm getting tired of replacing them . Thank' s for any info

Hi, Joe Why not just replace the input shaft seal? It is pretty easy to do. I did the one on my 89 ,4 yrs ago and it has been fine ever since. The kit is available at NAPA stores, and probably other parts stores as well. Good luck. Ross

Tried replacing the seal on the first one ,thing leaked just as bad, but it is worth a try
