steering gearbox adjustment?

A lil hint... ... ... . the new boxes are coming with double lock nuts.

I may actually need to tweak mine a little tighter... its a lot better than it was, just might be able to get ever so slightly better?



My next thing will be a new steering stabilizer as this one has 188k on it... I'm almost wondering if I'm getting feedback from the really bad roads we have right now.

I removed my box and disassembled it before attemting to adjust it. Found the bore quite worn. That's why my over centre adjustment was loose.

I plan on keeping this truck so I replaced the steering box.
