2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Steering issue

I have a physical thump in my steering column when I turn the wheel through center position in either direction. I replaced the ball joints 2 years ago and replaced the pitman arm, idler arm and all 4 tie-rod ends about a month ago. This just started happening "out of the blue" the other day. I crawled underneath and everything that has been change is tight. I may be looking at a gearbox. Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

1999 Ram 2500, 2 wheel drive, 120K mi., Air Raider intake and MBRP 4" exhaust.
