Yes they are in the same spotas best as I can see here at night. I will take a shot of it in the daylight and post it for you... . Andy

I rolled the driver's side cam all the way to the front last night and drove it around... seems to help keep the steering wheel straight and I think it helped the vibration as well. The passenger side was about 2 notches from all the way forward so I'll roll that side tonight since it seems to pull to the passenger side a bit. Then I guess I'll check the toe tomorrow. I think this is the answer to all the problems that I have right now(vibration and wandering). Just adjusting the caster as far as it will go...

Sorry. .

I forgot about the passenger side shot until I seen this pop back in my email today. I went out and just took it for you, forgive the bad camera abgle... ... Andy

Rolled the passenger side all the way forward to match the driverside last evening... dunno if it did much since it was about 2 notches from all the way forward. Steering feels stiffer and I think it wants to stay straight/return to center but pulls to the right now. I'll check the alignment tomorrow.

On my 2000, I had the alignment shop set the toe-in close to the "in" limit. When they set it to the middle, it wandered all over the road. With is set to the 'in" limit it drives good. You can actually take your hands off the wheel and it will track straight.

too much toe will make the truck have to push the front tend and eat on outside of tires. No toe or toed out will eat inside of tires and cause the vehicle to hunt areas of least resistance. even it you have zero toe their will always be the slightest amount of slack in components that will make it toe out as you go faster.

Thanks guys! I kinda figured if the toe was 0 it would still wander... Lord knows the front end will have slack SOMEWHERE! My DSS showed up last night so I'll get that on tomorrow. Hopefully, tighten things up a bit more! I'll give the alignment a whirl with a string line and tape measure while keeping the caster put right where it is. I'm curious if I should look into adjustable lower control arms...

darren's solid steel bracket is the way to go. I never crawl under the front of my truck to look for slop Oo. since I got that and the Lukes link on the track bar.
