I put 100 miles or less on the truck between the installation. I didn't mix manufactures, I had ordered a extra set to do my brothers truck (2005) which he traded in for a 2012. So I had a complete set of XRFs sitting on a shelve. I didn't have bad luck with MOOG as a matter of fact I put over 100k on a set and they didn't have the slop that the XRFs had. I do agree that had I saved all the $ that I have put in ball joints I could have purchased at least 2 uppers from carli.

Had my front axle u-jts replaced today as well as the ball joints. All replaced with greaseable units. Front end re-aligned also.

2nd set of u-jts for this truck. They failed when getting that nasty ice melt crap in them on the roads around Ely, Nev. Happened twice.

Truck drives like a new one now. All for $1060 in Casa Grande, Az. ; Compton Motors. Excellent shop.
