Looking for all the linkage in a box and the pitman arm. Seams 2000 & 2001 are harder to find. I read some reviews on Amazon and one kit reviewed says needs modified for steering damper and some say tie rod ends have different taper. Ok is they need modified what does it involve grinding? Even on rockauto not sure if I order it all separate which tie rod ends to get. Any help is greatly appreciated. What's the difference with it all in one assembly instead of pieces just easier to install? What is OEM part number for it all in a box so I can cross reference the ones I see listed? Not looking for L-cheap stuff I see listed on rockauto I would like the best Moog parts. Thanks.

Have you considered rebuilding the tie rod ends with Luke's links? I've put over 100k on them on my old truck and put them on my 01 on all four ends except the track bar, went 3rd gen route

Possibly NAPA might have a steering linkage kit “in-a-box”? At least you can “call” and talk to someone who “usually” is pretty knowledgeable about what you’re after. At least you could for sure see if MOOG or other HQ manuf. offers the kit (or not) and get the part # along with NAPA’s price

Thanks Nick I can now cross reference the OEM to rockauto.com parts. Oem is much more expensive than premium Moog. I'll check out both anyway. Thanks all. I'll post cost later.

Ordered parts Rockauto.com 330 shipped vs repair shop was 700 + tax. So almost 760. In my 330 I included a new steering dampener for 29 bucks. He would probably want enough to put it 800 easy. I know businesses need profit but not that much then he laid me away on labor too. So now I bought tires from tire rack also.

Thanks all for the help.
