Has anyone had this happen ? I installed a borgeson steering likage last year and on Sept 15 this year the set screw backed out and the linkage fell off losing complete steering control. I take responsibilty for this as I installed it myself and did'nt follow up to check the linkage. prior to this happening I just came over the rockies on a two lane road in Montana and the incident happened in Shelby Mt going up a on ramp at about 10 mph. I e mailed Borgeson about what happened and sugested that they look into the possibility of using a set screw with provision for installing a lock wire so dummies like me won't make the same mistake. I had about 90k since installation:

When I had Mike at National Spring down here in San Diego install the Borgenson in my '95-3500, he used Locktite on the set screw and the other fastenings.

He recommended that I come back in about 500 miles which I did and he looked it all over and declared it fine.

If I recall correctly the instructions from B say to do similar with the checking after X miles.

Farewell and ado to you ladies of Spain,

For we've received orders for to sail back to Boston,

And so never more shall we see you again... "
:D :D

I just checked mine. They are all tight. I didn't use locktite either?

"Here's to swimmin' with bowlegged wimmin'!"

Just that little bit extra in the Locktite is OK with me.

Being as I am so paranoid about this vehicle, sigh.
