This is kind of hard to describe but I'll give it my best shot.

While the truck is moving and I turn the wheel, there is a squeaking noise coming from the front end..... either from the steering or from the suspension. The noise doesn't happen if the wheel is straight, only if the wheel is turned. Also, if the road is totally smooth, it won't make the noise, only if there are some bumps.

I noticed that I don't hear it if the stereo is turned up, so I've been playing a lot of P. O. D. and Seven Dust lately. However, I should probably figure it out.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Steve

Noise

Take some spray lubricant, like WD40 and spray the steering linkage, under the hood, where it comes through the firewall and see if it cures your problem. It's a temporary cure and the noise will eventually come back, but easy to apply another coat of WD40.

Hope this helps,

Frank
