I do not have the death wobble but I do have significant steering problems. I am running All Terrain BFG's 315/75R16. My steering sucks. I have replaced my powersteering pump twice in a year and I think it is time for a third one. I want to do the DSS upgrade with 03 track bar. My tires are wearing funny (Scooping) and my front end goes out of alignment as soon as it is done. Is there a better/stronger PS pump out there? Dodge keeps replacing it but I think they are just putting rebuilt pumps on. It seems like I will do one upgrade and have to comeback and address my front end issues. Just when I think it is solved it comes back. I have to wrestle with the steering wheel. I am a big guy and bench over 400lbs. It takes all my strength to turn the wheel when I am going slow like to park. My wife can't begin to turn it. Any suggestions are welcome.

Also there is a creaking noise coming from the front end when you turn the wheel and a fair amount of play. Are my ball joints bad? If so are there stronger Ball Joints available?

Please advise,

Joel

are you using a dodge steering pump, or brand x? i have 39" tires on my truck and my 16 month old boy can turn the wheel (in the driveway). does your truck have the y-link steering or t-setup? the y link changes with the height of your truck so that would help explain the alignment problems maybe. if your going to change the pump again i would call west texas off road and have them get you a ram steering setup, theres are pretty cheap and with the bigger tires it will help a lot of steering componets. good luck if i could help sorry if i couldnt.
