Hi Everyone, I know this is a much talked about topic. I've read threads in a search until I'm seeing double. I've done the normal things; checked tire pressure, I've had the lower ball joints replaced, had an alignment done, etc. My truck is still pulling to the right! Not terribly bad, but bad enough to annoy me everytime I drive the truck. I've come to the conclusion that this is a relatively common problem with these trucks. My question is; recently, has there been any new info on this problem, as far as how it might be fixed, or what is causing it??? I'm not going to obsess about it, (yea, right), but, it would be great if I could fix this problem, cause it really bugs me. #@$%!

Thanks in advance,

Doug

steering pull to right

Doug,

The issue is from, in my case, the bolts holding the caliper are not sliding as they should. :eek:

The cures are many. :-{}

I contacted SFB for a pair of his boots to cover the bolts to keep the dirt-dust-water out. ;)

You can try the wd-40, never seize, or any other lube you want. :D

Or get SFB at sanfelipobob.com, he is a TDR member.

Good Luck,

My truck pulled to right also after all of the above; so I had my tires road focused; But tires were good. So I rotated just the front tires and it pulled left Oo. .

I think I'll try rotating the front tires. I've also been thinking of running a little more air pressure in the left front tire. The "pull" is not real bad, just annoying. Plus if I take my mind off of steering for even a second, the truck is heading for the shoulder, not drastically, just heading in that direction.

On mine, I found the front sway bar was loading it. I disconnected it and it pulled the other way! Just fine tune it or leave the bar a little loose, if that is it.
