I have this annoying pull to the right all the time. Everything is in alignment, I have new upper and lower Moog ball joints on the right and a new steering box. Any ideas? Or do I just have too live with it.....

Hey Griz,

The ball joint you put in. Are they the off set ones? Check alignment (past forum notes) it will give you the alignment your truck should have.

Mine had the pull and the dealership said it was in specs. However, the specs can vary by +_1 degree.

same problem

i've been fighting a pull to the right ever since i bought my truck (about 1. 5 years now. ) first they said the tires needed rotating ... did it. then they said it needed alignment ... did it. still pulls to the right. i'm about to put rancho 9000s on it, and before too long new michelins. if it still pulls to the right i'm gonna start really worrying. :(

any ideas on this one?

I had a 95 4x4, it pulled to the right. The diesel, it pulls to the right. I think it's a genetic trait of the Ram. Let's hope the new ones don't do it.

I found that tire pressure seems to make a bigger difference than I expected with the heavier engine. I have a slowleaker on the right front and when at proper pressure, it steers fine otherwise it pulls to the right.

Just a thought

I've been dealing with this same issue for awhile, since truck was new. My dealer told me because the front ball joints are non adjustable it cannot be alignment correctly and that once these parts are available they will replace them to correct the problem. Well now as you probably have read my dealer is waiting for DC to approve the work with the aftermarket adjustable ball joints, although they assure me that this will correct the pull. If this is the case then do the work. Or put adjustable ball joints from the factory. Enough from me again. :D :)
