steering slop fixed

I realize most Dodge owners know this, but I just installed the Borgeson steering shaft coupler kit on my 93... . this thing is worth it's weight in gold, I liked the truck before, I'm gonna love it know. I had rebuilt the pot joint a couple weeks ago, no better really, and saw a posting about the BOrgeson unit. Looked them up on the net, ordered it on the 10th and it was here, in Ontario, at my door on the 14th. Wow !! That is fast service... ... thank you fellas !!



It was a 1/2 hour to 45 minute install and the results speak for themselves, now my kid is gonna feel safer driving the old Goat..... wait, maybe I shouldn't tell him or he'll want to drive it !!!!

Which one did you use?

The one that reuses the rag joint or the one that gets rid of it?

i got the one that reuses it. I bought the new rag joint kit too. I maybe should have got the other one, but I never off road with the truck, it's a highway hauler / commuter truck for me, and the site says this would work, and it does quite nicely. Once into the job, I realized that I could have used the other one. I'm not so sure of the pros and cons... . but that's the one I choose.
