(Ref: TDR Issue 34 & 39)

Question to John Holmes and the other Nevada denizens who adjusted their caster to correct the road wander so commonly reported by the TDR members.

Since John reported that this fix is effective and no associated problems have been detected, I decided to give it a try.

Took the truck to our friendly alignement shop where the oem caster settings were reported to be:

Left 1. 2 Right 1. 3

They adjusted these to "the most they could" at:

Left 2. 6 Right 2. 7

Toe . 05 . 03

Camber . 2 0

The steering is notably more stable and tighter, but will take a little getting used to.

Since I know nothing about degree settings and caster correlation values, would you all confirm that these are acceptable settings and should be good to go, or should we regroup and try again?

Thanx
