On my 04 my steering wheel is flacking off. and is now getting sticky at the 10 oclock position. Rather annoying. normally I have my fingers there and that's naturally why it's flacking off now after 4 years (almost to the date!)

Suggestions for a cover, or replacement. If it's a cover, I want something very thin and not obtrusive, almost stealth like.

I have the cover from Genos, it is 6 months old and turning black where I use it. It was gray to begin with.

My '98. 5 is absolutely falling apart as well.

What are the options, and still be able to keep the air bag?

Jason, mine just starting doing the same thing, I was looking at genos cover last night as well. Its funny every other vehicle that I drove over the past couple weeks I checked too and most of them were older with no wear at all.

I have the same problem on my 99. The wheel has been flaking off at the top since I bought it last year. I've just kind of dealt with it for now. I absolutely HATE those covers that you can buy at Wal Mart, auto parts, etc. To me they just make the wheel too big of a feel.

I had seen these somewhere else but I just seen it in the new Diesel Power that came as well... Grant Steering Wheels (Steering Wheels - Grant Products) is making a replacement wheel to use with existing OEM air bags and in wheel controls. They have them out for the GM trucks already and it says that wheels for our Dodge trucks are coming soon.
