I recently sucked out and replaced my power steering fluid. I did the turkey baster method and replaced with mopar atf+4. I have noticed now after I turn the wheel and the wheel spins back to center it shudders. It doesn’t return smoothly. The fluid level is correct. What could my problem be?

Jack your front wheels off the ground, start the truck up, and turn the wheel lock-to-lock 10-12 times and see if that doesn't work it out.

I did this this morning. Definitely air in the system. Foamed out, so that was nice. Pretty sure I got all the air out though. Gonna keep an eye on the level for a bit to be sure there isn’t any more air.

This has worked but I still seem to have air in the system. Gonna do it again tomorrow. When you go lock to lock do you hold it there for a second or just keep going back and forth?

is the reservoir attached directly to the pump or stand alone ? if its not attached then the feed line going out is usually at the very bottom and likely you cant even suck the fluid down that far. even if you did, the line is still full.
did you happen to start the engine while nothing was in the resorvoir ? that certainly will put alot of air in the system. otherwise just sucking the resorvoir doesnt introduce air.
its easy to get air out. wheels off ground just turn lock to lock few times with eng off. lock to lock and hold for a second or so with eng on.
of course your aware the draining resorvoir is only good for dilluting the remaining system

Reservoir is directly attached. Not sure how I got so much air in there. I jacked it up and turned the wheels again without power and with. Seems like I got most of the air out. I still see a few small bubbles. No pump whine though.
